Programs at NAS Lemorre are tailored to meet the child care needs of parents once the child reaches school age. Once enrolled your child will play in a safe supervised environment where they can learn develop and practice social skills. NAS Lemorre is home to several programs including the Y Teen Program, youth sports program, preschool/kindergarten readiness program and the sacc after-school program. The Y Teen Program provides children with a variety of activities that will keep them occupied and active. These programs are DoD certified as well as nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA). The youth sports program provides sports leagues, skills clinics, camps, fitness/health classes, special sporting events and outdoor recreation activities for children from three to eighteen years old.
The Y Teen Program also provides locally selected sports throughout the year. These include golf, volleyball, pickle ball, taekwondo and early start tennis. The sacc after-school program is for children that are in grades K-5th grade who need additional academic help to advance into middle school. They spend their time studying school subjects while participating in fun activities. The preschool/kindergarten readiness program is designed to help children prepare for kindergarten. This program helps with socialization, motor skills and cognition. These programs are essential for the development of a child and can provide the parent some peace of mind while they are away at work. The Youth Sports and Fitness Program (YSF) plans, organizes, and conducts sports leagues, skills clinics, camps, fitness/health classes, special sporting events, and outdoor recreation activities for children and youth 3 to 18 years old. YSF also provides locally selected sports such as: golf, volleyball, pickle ball, taekwondo, early start tennis and home-school physical education and fitness programing. YSF programs are driven with the support of volunteer coaches.
