Camping Regulations – Fort Bennings campgrounds are available for overnight camping only. Campers are limited to 14 days per 30 day period, except when authorized by the Commanding Officer. All visitors staying in recreation facilities must reside on Fort Bennings and display a valid Fort Benning (Military/DoD) Identification Card. Re-enlisting Soldiers may not re-occupy permanent party housing or return to post earlier than 180 days following separation. A full copy of the USAIC Reg 215-2 is available at the Campground Office.
RV Sites – RV sites are rented on a first come, first served basis. You can reserve a specific type of site but not a specific site. Homesteading is prohibited. This does not apply to approved long-term sites. A camper is responsible for his or her site. Store items in or under RVs. Keep all personal equipment within campsite boundaries. Regulations regarding length of stay are outlined in USAIC Regulation 215-2.
Cabins – Cabins are two rooms accommodating up to six people, each with an AC/heating system and electricity (bring your own lamps). Each cabin has running water but is not plumbed for a sink or shower. There is a charcoal grill, picnic table and fire ring outside. Check-In and Check-Out – Check in between 3pm and 8pm at the Country Store. Upon arrival, inventory the items in your cabin (pots, pans, etc). Check out by 11am at the Country Store. If checking out before or after store hours, contact the front desk and put the key in the drop box next to the front door of the Country Store. There is a fee for late check-outs.
