If you are a military service member or dependent and need to get an ID card, the McChord AFB ID Card section is the place to go. You will need two forms of identification, one of which must be an identity document. The ID card office can also help you if your CAC has been lost or stolen. You will need to show a security office report saying your CAC is lost or stolen.

If you are an eligible sponsor, you can save time by using the online DEERS enrollment and verification process known as RSS. There will be no need for an in person visit if you complete this method.

You can get a marriage certificate, birth certificate, and social security card translated into English if they are not in that language. The ID card office can add a spouse, child, stepchild, or illegitimate child to DEERS. You will need to provide certain documents depending on the relationship of the child to the sponsor.

If you are a full time student, you can get your ID card with this verification letter from your school.
