The Air Force operates a legal assistance program which provides free advice and representation from military attorneys on personal civil legal matters. This includes areas such as wills, powers of attorney, advanced medical directives, notaries, dependent care issues, adoption, financial responsibility, domestic relations, the Servicemembers’ Civil Relief Act (SCRA), Veterans Reemployment Rights and Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), Casualty Affairs, landlord/tenant issues, consumer affairs, taxes, victims of crime.
